As the taluk’s Maidanahalli Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Society has ceased to function, the Co-operation Department has appointed B. Raju as Liquidation Officer of the Society. Although years have passed since the Liquidation Order was issued, it is found that no efforts have been made either by the Society members or other members of the public, for reviving the Society.
