The Department of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Mysore (UoM) and Protein Foods and Nutrition Development Association of India (PFNDAI) have jointly organised a Nutrition Awareness programme for UG students of Nutrition at Vijnana Bhavan, Manasagangothri, tomorrow (Feb.7). As part of the programme, various competitions will be held from 10 am onwards followed by a seminar on ‘Good Nutrition: Key to development for a better tomorrow’ at 2.30 pm. Prof U.V. Mani, UGC Emeritus Scientist, Food Science & Nutrition and former HoD, MS University, Vadodara, will inaugurate the competitions. Prof. G. Venkatesh Kumar, Dean - Faculty of Science, UoM, will deliver the valedictory address and distribute prizes.
