Mysuru: Karnataka State Government Nurses Association, Mysuru District Unit, has organised Nurses Festival and 10th Annual Florence Nightingale Award presentation ceremony at MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall, J.K. Grounds, tomorrow (Aug.18) at 4 pm. Minister G.T. Devegowda will inaugurate. MLC Marithibbegowda, MLA L. Nagendra, former MLA Vasu, MMC&RI Dean & Director Dr. C.P. Nanjaraj, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. B. Basavaraju, Karnataka State Government Employees Association State President H.K. Ramu will be present. Karnataka State Government Nurses Association District President Shivamma will preside.
District-level Dance Contest and Cultural Programme will follow at 6 pm. Prior to that from 9 am to 1 pm, a seminar on ‘Nurses: A voice to lead - Health is a human right’ will be held at the same venue.
