Mysore/Mysuru: From now on, birth certificates can be collected at the hospital where the child is born. This will avoid people running around the offices of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to get the birth certificates that is at times a tedious process with non-obliging officers and lack of data on time.
Earlier, the MCC was the sole authority to issue birth certificates and all the hospitals of the city furnished the data of babies born and also the details of the parents. Now, parents can get the certificates in a hassle-free manner in the hospital where the baby is born along with the discharge summary of the hospital where the mother is admitted for delivery.
