Mysore/Mysuru: With the Government planning to implement e-office concept in all its departments from April 1 this year, the Department of Public Instruction, in association with Ministerial Staff, Vehicle Drivers and Group-D Employees Association, Mysuru Division, held a day-long training workshop on online services for its non-teaching staff of Mysuru Revenue Division at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road today.
Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, K.J. Rajendra, Divisional Secretary and Joint Director of Public Instruction, Mysuru Division, said that the non-teaching staff, who include clerks, vehicle drivers and D-Group employees play a key role in governance of the Department. Highlighting the role of the staff in taking governance to the common man, he said that the Government is in the process of making all its office paperless starting from April 1 this year.
