Mysore/Mysuru: With hardly 10 months to go for the Assembly polls, the State Government yesterday recalled the nominations made to 52 State-run Boards, Corporations and other Authorities. New Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons for these authorities are likely to be nominated in a day or two to replace the Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen who have completed 18 months in office.
The announcement came at Bengaluru just a few hours after CM Basavaraj Bommai told reporters at Mysore Airport (the CM was on way to flood-affected districts of Kodagu, DK, Udupi and Uttara Kannada) yesterday that BJP Core Committee has decided to replace party functionaries heading Boards and Corporations for over 18 months.
