Mysuru: Dr. Renu Agrawal, Ex-Chief Scientist, Rural Development Coordinator, Project Advisor, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, has been nominated as a National Expert by Government of India for SMART village in Karnataka under the Prime Minister’s Scheme to lift backward villages into SMART village — Yadgir in North Karnataka. There will be transformation of the village through science and technology intervention in water, renewable energy, digital village, agriculture, skill development and livelihood to improve the socio-economic status and living standards of the villagers.
