Mysuru: The Banks will not be closed on Apr.30 due to Buddha Jayanti. Following the publication of a report in SOM yesterday that ‘Banks will remain closed for four days from Apr.28,’ the Banks have clarified that Buddha Jayanti which falls on Apr. 30 is not a Bank holiday and they will be working on that day. But the Banks will be closed tomorrow (Apr.28) being a fourth Saturday, on Sunday (Apr.29) and again on May 1.
