Mysuru: The District Administration that was mulling to impose a ban on private vehicles atop Chamundi Hill between Sept. 22 and 24 and between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2, seems to have decided not to pursue the matter as the decision has not yet been taken.
The ban option was being contemplated to avoid parking chaos atop the Hill. Speaking to SOM this morning, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep said that as of now, there will be no ban. “There will be some restrictions on vehicle movement when the CM’s convoy moves towards the Hill tomorrow. Otherwise, there is no ban. We are yet to take a decision on this,” he said.
