Mysore/Mysuru: In a bid to help the public from continuous rains, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has constituted ‘Night Shift Task Force’ which will function during night times from July 13 to Aug. 17. Officials from various Departments of the MCC have been deployed, who will be present at the MCC Control Room during the given dates from 9 pm to 6 am. The officials, along with the members of Abhaya team, will dash to the spot as soon as they receive a complaint and solve the problem.
MCC Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy, who has issued an order in this regard, has instructed the officials to use necessary equipment to remove water which has flooded houses, to clear house collapse debris using an earth excavation machine and gangmen, clear blocked or clogged drains, clear fallen trees or branches and also to see that power is restored which is disrupted due to fallen electric poles.
