Nanjangud: A newly wed, committed suicide at her grandfather’s house in Srirampura village here yesterday. She was married three months ago.
The deceased is K.S. Varshitha (20), daughter of K.G. Somashekar, a resident of Karya village in the taluk. She was given in marriage to one Abhishek of Chamarajanagar on May 8, 2022. As it was Ashada season, she had come to her parents’ house in July. Later, she is said to be staying at her grandfather Shivarajappa’s house in Rampura village.
