Mysuru: While picnics, family get-togethers, parties and merry makings have lined up for the New Year celebrations, consumption of liquor in gallons would be the centre of attraction of all these revelries. Looking at the celebration mode of the people, City Police have come up with certain precautionary measures to ensure that the festivities end peacefully.
With various hotels, restaurants, clubs and associations preparing for a grand bash on Dec. 31, City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao and Superintendent of Police Ravi D. Channannavar have issued a set of rules and regulations to be followed on the New Year’s eve both in Mysuru City limits and district jurisdictions.
