Mysuru: The District Health Department in a bid to provide medical facilities atop Chamundi Hill has decided to open a new Public Health Centre (PHC) there which would come up soon. A meeting in this regard was held recently and Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has agreed to provide land for the construction of the PHC. District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. B. Basavaraju said that the Government had sanctioned a PHC atop the hill but there is no land with the Health Department.
