Mysuru: JCI Senator Vikas Gugliya, Immediate Past President of JCI Mysore Royal City, has been elected as Zone President of JCI India Zone XIV. He is the first member from JCI Mysore Royal City and the second from Mysuru city to be chosen for a top position in Junior Chamber International (JCI). Vikas Gugliya was elected as Zone President of JCI India at the Zone Conference of JCI India, Zone XIV comprising 12 districts of Bangalore, Mysore, Kodagu, Tumkur, Kolar, Hassan, Mandya and Chikamagalur, held at Adichunchanagiri Samudaya Bhavan in Sringeri, hosted by JCI Bilalukoppa recently. Vikas, a young entrepreneur residing in Agrahara, Mysuru, is an MBA graduate and a Certified Zone trainer. By profession, he is into Consumers Electronics Distribution. A member of JCI Mysore Royal City, he has served as its Secretary and President and also as Zone Vice-President of Zone XIV. JCI India is a voluntary organisation, membership-based NGO working in India since 1949 for developing the leadership skills of young men and women. It is affiliated to Junior Chamber International (JCI), a worldwide Federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs founded in 1944 by Jc. Henry Giessenbier at USA having headquarters at Chester Field, USA.
