The General Body Meeting of the Railway Malayali Samithi was held at a private hotel in city recently. Thereafter, under the supervision of the Presiding Officers, K.K. Pavithran and Narayana Pothuval, the new office-bearers for the 2026-2028 term were unanimously elected.
The elected office-bearers are as follows: President - Shibin K. Baby; Vice-President - M.C. Shabin, Secretary - T.V. Satheendran, Treasurer - V.R. Harikrishnan, Organising Secretary - Ambreesh, Assistant Secretaries - Shajin Raj, C. Ranjith and K. Vineesh and Auditor - Surendran.
During the meeting, eleven Railway employees, who retired from service during April and May 2026 and were members of the Samithi, were felicitated.
The gathering also acknowledged their long years of dedicated service and valuable contributions to the Samithi. Various suggestions were discussed to further strengthen the Samithi’s social, cultural and welfare activities and to enhance member participation.
