In a minor reshuffle of bureaucracy in Mysuru, the Government on Monday appointed IAS Officer B.R. Poornima as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mysuru ZP, in place of A.M. Yogesh, who has been transferred to Bengaluru. Poornima will also continue to function as the Commissioner of the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage at Mysuru, which post she is currently holding. Poornima had also served as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) at Mysuru a couple of years ago.
A.M. Yogesh, who was serving as Mysuru ZP CEO, has been posted as Director of Agricultural Marketing at Bengaluru.
