Mysuru: A new edition of Kumaravyasa’s ‘Gadugina Bharata,’ compiled by veteran writer Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar (CPK), was released at a programme jointly organised by Tanu-Manu Prakashana and Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota at the residence of veteran littérateur and Saraswathi Samman awardee Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa on Udayaravi Road in Kuvempunagar here this morning.
Speaking after releasing the book, Dr. Bhyrappa said that Gamakis used to render Kumaravyasa’s Gadugina Bharata in the 1940s, when he got an opportunity to learn it by heart.
