New DC to take charge on Oct. 27

The new Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru Dr. K.V. Rajendra will assume office on Oct. 27. Dr. Rajendra, who was serving as Dakshina Kannada DC, was transferred as Mysuru DC late last week, replacing Dr. Bagadi Gautham, who has been posted as Director of Mines and Geology Department at Bengaluru. Dr. Rajendra, a 2013 batch IAS officer, will arrive at Mysuru on the evening of Oct. 26. He will visit Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill at 8.30 am on Oct. 27, before assuming charge at the Mysuru DC office from outgoing DC Dr. Bagadi Gautham at 10.30 am, according to sources.
