Mysuru: National Cadet Corps (NCC), Mysuru Group, has bagged the Runners-Up position in the coveted NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa Inter-Group Competition during the Republic Day Camp (IGC - RDC) held at Christ University Bengaluru between Nov.1 and Nov. 10. The first position was secured by the Bangalore B Group.
The IGC-RDC is held every year for selection of Cadets for the prestigious Republic Day Contingent, New Delhi, from the NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa. A total of 77 Cadets of Mysuru Group participated in various Competitions such as Drill, Flag Area, Group Song, Group Dance, Ballet, National Integration Awareness Programme and Line Area. The Best Cadets were further tested for Firing, General Knowledge and Subjects of the Army, Navy and Air Force. Seven Cadets of the Group secured the first and second position in the Best Cadet Competition.
