The senior scientists from Hyderabad have monitored the landslides that occurred in Kodagu for three days. After monitoring the activity, they have set up the Seismograph in a special room. This equipment monitors every activity inside the earth, records it and sends it to Hyderabad. Mild tremors were experienced at Galibeedu on Monday and last evening at 5.30 said the scientists.—P.M. Madikeri, Aug.29- A team of Geo-technical experts from NGRI (National Geophysical Research Institute) have set up a Seismic Monitoring Centre in Galibeedu’s Navodaya Vidyalaya to closely monitor seismic activity in and around Kodagu.
