Mysuru: State Yoga Teachers Welfare Association has organised a Navaratri Yoga Camp from Oct. 11 to 18 at Hootagalli’s Vishwamanava Shikshana Hall.
Announcing this at a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavan on Thursday, Association Hon. Secretary Dr. S.P. Yoganna said that the 9-day Navaratri Yoga Camp will run daily from 6.10 am to 7.10 am.
Free training will be provided on healthy living, including Agnihotra, Navadurga Namaskara,
Pranayama, Meditation and Medicine-free living.
Association President Dr. Yogakumar stated that the Government is being urged to fulfil various demands, including organising yoga teachers across the State, creating job for yoga teachers, providing monthly pension for senior yoga teachers and providing merit scholarship to the children of yoga teachers. He added that there are various plans to hold State-level Yoga Literary Conference in December.
