Mysore/Mysuru: In view of the Covid-19 cases still prevailing and under third wave threat in Mysuru, the private Navarathri celebrations at the Mysore Palace during the current year will be carried out only as a ritual in keeping with the tradition sans participation or presence of family members including visitors and media, said Pramoda Devi Wadiyar in a press release.
"This is a preventive measure to contain the spread of Covid-19. Members of the media and public are requested to extend their wholehearted cooperation in this regard," the release added.
