National-level young wrestler Vikas K.S. Gowda (20) passed away at a hospital in Davanagere yesterday. He was suffering from spinal cord pain. A native of Seetapura village in Mandya district, Vikas Gowda was undergoing wrestling training at Davanagere Sports Hostel for the past four years. He was taking treatment at S.S. Hitech Hospital for spinal cord pain and died yesterday after failing to respond to the treatment.
