Mysore/Mysuru: The Cosmology Education and Research Training Centre (COSMOS) - Mysuru of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, in association with the University of Mysore, is organising National Space Day - 2025 on Aug.23 at 11 am at the Seminar Hall of Vijnana Bhavan, Manasagangothri.
Dr. S. Seetha, former Director, Space Science Programme Office, ISRO & Visiting Scientist - Raman Research Institute (who is widely known for her contributions to AstroSat and Mangalyaan Nissions), will deliver a special lecture titled From Rockets to Satellite Missions - Growth of Space Science in India. The talk will be bilingual (in English & Kannada) and open to students, teachers and general public. Also, there is no registration for the programme.
