Kendra Sahitya Academy will be conducting a National Seminar on ‘Tribal languages’ at Ravindra Bhavan in New Delhi from Feb. 24 to 29. Mysuru Rangayana Director Addanda C. Cariappa will present a paper on Kodava Tribal Language at 10.30 am on Feb. 25, the second day of the seminar. The conference will be attended by tribal language writers and intellectuals. The conference has assumed significance in the wake of demands that Kodava language be included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
