As part of National Consumer Day celebrations, the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat (ZP), Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, have jointly arranged a consumer awareness programme on Dec. 28 at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry, Vinoba Road, from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) is participating in this programme and its experts will offer advice on issues connected with electric supply. Interested public may attend the event. The programme will be inaugurated by ZP CEO K. Jyothi. Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar will preside. Consumer Redressal Forum Member M.C. Devakumar, who will be the chief guest, will deliver a lecture on ‘Consumer Rights and Responsibilities.’
