A National Conference on ‘Science and Technology: Rural Development’ has been organised at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri tomorrow (Oct.17) at 10 am, under the aegis of Institute of Excellence and Centre for Materials Science and Technology, University of Mysore (UoM) and Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Bengaluru Chapter. ISCA General President Prof. K.S. Rangappa will inaugurate the Conference. ISCA General President (Elect) Prof. Vijaya Lakshmi Saxena will be the chief guest on the occasion. Past ISCA General President Prof. Ashok Kumar Saxena will release the souvenir. Prof. K.J. Rao of Indian Institute of Science - Bengaluru will release the books and deliver keynote address. UoM VC Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar will preside.
