Mysore/Mysuru: Asha Kirana Hospital, in association with AIDS Society of India (ASI), had organised a National Conference on HIV/AIDS, TB, COVID and Emerging Infections at a private hotel in city yesterday.
Dr. I.S. Gilada, President, ASI, Dr. N. Kumarasamy, Secretary General, ASI, Dr. S. Balasubramanian, former Director, Kanchi Kamkoti Child Trust Hospital, Chennai, Dr. G. Narendran, Senior Deputy Director, National Institute of Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT), Chennai, Dr. Vijay Kulkarni, Vice-Principal and HoD, Paediatrics, SDMMC, Dharwad and others deliberated during the Conference. Over 100 doctors attended the Seminar. The book ‘Biofilms,’ authored by Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist of CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, was released on the occasion.
