Mysore/Mysuru: With stringent lockdown in force, Karnataka Sena Pade, taking advantage of the lockdown relaxation on Mondays and Thursdays, when provisions shops, grocery shops and other essential shops are allowed to open from 6 am to 12 noon, celebrated Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Jayanti in the city this morning, a day in advance (official Jayanti is on June 4). However, the celebrations, held at K.R. Circle in the heart of the city, was simple and was held by following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.
Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, DCP Dr. A.M. Prakash Gowda said that the contribution of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar to the State was enormous.
