N.C. Ponnuswamy (90), father of former India Number 3, Tennis Champion N.P. Raghuveer and one of the Founders of Mysore Tennis Club, passed away at his residence in Chamarajapuram this morning. He leaves behind sons Raghuveer and Manjunath, daughter Vijayalakshmi and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held at 5 pm today at the foot of Chamundi Hill.
