Dasara Sports CM Cup-2026 inauguration
Mysuru: This year’s Dasara Sports CM Cup-2026 inauguration at Chamundi Vihar Stadium will feature two Mysuru sportspersons Pranavi Urs and K.S. Shilpa, who have made India proud by winning medals in the recently held Asian Games-2026 and Commomwealth Games-2026 respectively.
While Pranavi Urs became the first Indian woman to win gold at the individual golf event at the Asian Games and also a silver in team event, K.S. Shilpa became the first woman para-athlete to win a bronze medal in the F57 Shot Put event at the Commonwealth Games.
This is probably for the first time in Dasara Sports that two Mysuru sports achievers, who have won medals in international events, have been invited as the special guests.
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will inaugurate this year’s Dasara Sports CM Cup-2026 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium on Oct. 11 at 4.30 pm.
