Mysore/Mysuru: To make the city greener, Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is planning to get 3,000 tree saplings from Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking after participating in the World Environment Day celebration held at Hasiru Mysuru Nursery near Devarayanakere on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road yesterday, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh said, “We are planning to bring 3,000 tree saplings from Rajahmundry. Saplings in general have a bleak survival rate and need to be nurtured before they can grow into plants and then trees.
