Mysore/Mysuru: Akash Aradhya from Mysuru, who took part in the Short track Ice Skating - South East Asian Trophy event held in Singapore on Apr. 1 and 2, has secured a gold medal in the 500m Race and a bronze medal in the 2000m Mixed Relay Race.
It is a competition where all the South Asian countries come and compete in this event. Countries like India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines took part in it. Even skaters from New Zealand took part as invited country. A total of 150 Skaters took part in various age groups among male and female categories.
