Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Premier League (MPL) Cricket Tournament will be held from May 14 to 22 jointly by Saraswathipuram Sports Club & Kuvempunagar Cricket Club, said Tournament Executive Committee Member M.R. Suresh. Addressing newsmen at Pathrakartara Bhavan on Saturday, he said that the matches will be played at Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Grounds (Gangothri Glades) and at SJCE Cricket Grounds. Auction of players will be held on Apr. 17.
Stating that the Tournament is being organised to encourage local cricketers, he said that players above the age of 16 years (as on May 1, 2022) of Mysuru Zone can participate in the Tournament which has been approved by Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).
