The Mysuru outing turned out to be a double delight for the unseeded lanky Tamil Nadu lad Suresh Dakshineswar, who clinched the coveted men's Singles and Doubles titles, and with that completed a fine double on the concluding day of the Mysuru Open Rs.1 lakh Men's Tennis Tournament conducted jointly by Orange Sportz and Mysore Tennis Club (MTC) at their courts here on Friday.
TN's Suresh Dakshineswar beat second-seeded Jatin Dahiya (Del) in a keenly contested tie 6-7 (2), 6-4, 7-5 which lasted for nearly three hours. The first set a see-saw battle for supremacy in which Jatin Dahiya capitalised on his rival's errors in the tie-breaker to take the first set.
