Dr. T. Amarnath has been named the new District Health Officer (DHO) of Mysuru in the place of R. Venkatesh, who has been transferred without any posting. Amarnath, who is new to Mysuru, has earlier worked in Ramanagara and Bengaluru. He assumed office on Saturday last and was busy holding meetings to take stock of the COVID situation in the district on Monday.
