The works on shifting of 228-year-old armoury was given to American company PSL-Wolfe Private Ltd. and New Delhi-based PSL Engineering at a cost of Rs. 13.5 crore. The Commissioner for Railway Safety recently conducted an inspection of the newly-laid 1.7 km track near Srirangapatna and gave his consent for operating trains.
