Mysuru: Paleyanda Ponnappa Supreetha, a Mysurean doing her Ph.D in Australia, was recently invited as a guest speaker at the Annual Meeting held by Redland Branch of Cancer Council of Queensland, one of the top fund-raising community for research and prevention of cancer.
This researcher is working on “Electropolymerisation of conjugated polymers, for making flexible biosensors”, which can help in early detection of protein in the body (cancerous/ malignant cells). This technique is affordable, portable, better sensitivity and most importantly, will improve the standard of living.
