Chamarajanagar - Three notorious women, who used to snatch chains from women attending village fairs, have been arrested by Shivamogga Police and have been handed over to Chamarajanagar Police. Gold ornaments worth Rs. 14,15,500 weighing over 555.44 grams have been seized.
The arrested women have been identified as 37-year-old Jyothi alias Ramya, a resident of Muddaiahnahundi in Gundlupet, 50-year-old Geetha alias Sumithra, a resident of Vijayanagar in Mysuru and 35-year-old Nagarathna alias Savitha, a resident of Channarayapatna in Hassan.
