Mysuru: Mystery shrouds the death of a woman, who was found dead inside the water sump of her house in Kuvempunagar ‘M’ Block here yesterday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Vinutha (26), wife of Vasanth, a KSRTC employee. Daughter of Mohan, a resident of Tonachikoppal here, Vinutha was given in marriage to Vasanth five years ago. Her relatives who have expressed doubts over her death have stated that Vinutha has not committed suicide but has been murdered. He further said that his daughter had not committed suicide and alleged that she was murdered and dumped into the sump. Kuvempunagar Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, removed the body from the sump and shifted it to MMC&RI mortuary. Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
