Nanjangud: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth who was found drowned at Hathwalkatte near Malkundi in the taluk. The deceased youth’s father has lodged a Police complaint alleging that his son was murdered by four youths by pushing him into the water.
The deceased has been identified as Vinay (19), son of Nandeesh of Malkundi village. Nandeesh has accused Somashekar, Manu, Vijay and Dinesh of murdering his son. In his complaint, Nandeesh has stated that during the village festival held about two days ago, Somashekar and Manu had fought with his family members and on Apr. 6 morning, village elders and leaders, held a meeting and advised all to live in harmony.
