Mysuru: Rotary West Mysore Past President Dr. Raghavendra Prasad has urged City Police Commissioner to speed up the investigation of the mysterious death of Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) Officer D.K. Dinesh Kumar and inform the cause of his death to the society.
Addressing a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Dr. Raghavendra said that it has been over 20 days since the mysterious death of Dinesh Kumar came to light. “On Nov. 26 Saturday, Dinesh Kumar visited Rotary organisations and other places and reached his home at about 9.30 pm. It was the last time we saw him. On Nov. 28, we got information about Dinesh’s death through Police, which was a shock to us. The hospital management announced that he had died midway and informed the Police. When we went to the hospital and saw his body, it was in a bad state. The doctors, who examined the body, suspected that Dinesh may have died 36 hours ago and foul smell was emanating from the body,” Dr. Raghavendra said.
