Mysuru: The University of Mysore presented a deficit budget of Rs. 3.57 crore at its Academic Council meeting, here this morning at Crawford Hall.
The block grant released by the State Government for salaries and pension of employees was Rs. 137.19 crore and the income generated from admissions was Rs. 50 crore, from University properties Rs. 8 crore, from examination fees Rs. 57 crore and miscellaneous receipts Rs. 6 crore, said Finance Officer Prof. B. Mahadevappa tabling the budget.
