The Department of Studies in Genetics and Genomics, University of Mysore, has organised a function on Feb. 8 at Rani Bahadur Auditorium, B.N. Bahadur Institute of Management Studies on Hunsur Road here at 3 pm, to felicitate Prof. N.B. Ramachandra on being elected as Fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences - 2017. Prof. Rama Shankar Singh, Professor, Department of Biology, McMaster University, Canada and Prof. K.S. Rangappa, former VC, University of Mysore will be the chief guests. Prof. H.A. Ranganath, Visiting Professor, Division of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and Distinguished Professor (for Life) of University of Mysore and Prof. R. Rajanna, Registrar of University of Mysore will be the guests of honour. Prof. Yashavanth Dongre, VC (In-Charge), University of Mysore, will preside.
