Mysuru: Alleging that the Election Officer has deliberately rejected nomination papers of some members who wanted to contest in the election of The Muslim Co-operative Bank on Sayyaji Rao Road to be held on Feb. 3, a member of the bank, has lodged a complaint at Mandi Police Station on Sunday.

Shafiulla Baig is the person, who has lodged the complaint. In his complaint, he has stated that during the scrutiny of nomination papers held on Sunday, the Returning Officer rejected some nomination papers and has also appointed retired official Srinivasamurthy for the election process. Baig has urged for the removal the two officials from the election duty.
