Mysore/Mysuru: City's well-known music promoter and former Syndicate Member of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, C.R. Himamshu, has opposed the possible appointment of In-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote as regular Vice-Chancellor of the Music Varsity.
In a press release, Himamshu alleged that Prof. Nagesh Bettakote, who is serving as In-charge VC of the University, has indulged in large scale financial irregularities and taking unilateral decisions.
