Mysuru: The First Additional District and Sessions Judge S. Sudheendranath has sentenced B.L. Chandru, 47, of Basavapura in KR Nagar taluk, for four years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 for his attempt to murder Virupaksha on Sept. 16, 2012 colluding with his friends. For lack of evidence, the friends of the accused have been acquitted. D. Ajith Kumar Hamigi, Public Prosecutor, appeared for the State.
