Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) will be issuing applications for 85 Civic Amenity (CA) sites available with it in a week’s time, said MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaju. He said that though 250 CA sites were identified across the city, only 85 CA sites were ready for distribution and added that applications from Trusts, Associations and Organisations would be called after giving a notification in a week’s time. Registered Associations and Organisations and Trusts, which want to provide public facilities such as Community Halls, Hospitals, Educational Institutions, Old-Age Homes and Orphanages may apply for the CA sites. He said that land acquisition process for Ballahalli Layout in 50:50 ratio and agreement process with the farmers would begin from Monday and talks have been held with the farmers in this regard and many have agreed for this, he added. He further said agreement would be made with the farmers who have agreed to part their land and added that distribution of sites at Lalithadripura 2nd Stage would be launched from the 3rd week of December. Kantharaju said that 586 applications had been received for distribution of sites and the process of selecting beneficiaries should take place. He further said that the process of receiving payments from those who have been distributed sites at R.T. Nagar Layout and a lease-cum-sale agreement is under process following which Possession Certificate would be given. Kantharaju said that the General Meeting of MUDA would be held on Dec. 12.
