New Delhi: Chamarajanagar MP R. Dhruvanarayan met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari recently and submitted a memorandum seeking upgradation of the National Highway (NH) passing through parts of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.
The Union Government has revised the prerequisites for upgrading the existing two-lane NHs into four-lane. According to the revised parameters, the traffic density on the existing two-lane NH has been reduced from 20,000 Passenger Car Units (PCU) to 10,000 PCU.
