Mysore/Mysuru: Making use of the PM’s visit to the city, Chamarajanagar BJP MP V. Sreenivasa Prasad has appealed Modi for sanctioning Rs. 10 crore for the establishment of Buddhist Studies Centre in University of Mysore (UoM) campus at Manasagangothri.

PM Modi, who met Prasad at the venue after he (Modi) had interacted with beneficiaries of various Government schemes at Maharaja’s College Grounds, enquired about his health. During his brief chat with the PM, Prasad complimented him (PM) for setting up of a Buddhist Cultural Centre at Lumbini in Nepal and at the same time sought Central financial assistance for setting up the Buddhist Studies Centre in UoM campus here.
